Our aim
We want the tool to be usable by as many children as possible, including pupils with disabilities and additional needs. The project aims to meet WCAG 2.1 AA.
How the tool is designed
The interface supports keyboard use, touch input and screen readers. It uses clear labels, strong contrast, large touch targets and an on-screen number pad. It respects reduced-motion preferences and is designed to resize cleanly across common devices.
Testing
Accessibility is checked with automated tools together with manual keyboard, screen-reader, zoom, contrast and device testing.

About this statement
