The short version
The practice tool is designed to collect as little information as possible. It does not require pupil names, email addresses, school names or pupil accounts, and test answers and scores are handled on the device rather than stored in a pupil-results database.
Personal data
We do not ask pupils to provide names, email addresses, school details or other identifying information in order to use the practice tool.
Test results
Practice scores are generated on the device and are not stored in a pupil-results database. A teacher or parent can record a result themselves if they wish.
Cookies and tracking
The core learning experience is not designed around advertising or behavioural tracking. Any infrastructure-level security or operational logging used by hosting or security providers is separate from pupil profiling and is handled according to the relevant provider and project privacy settings.
Children's privacy
The project is designed for use by Year 4 pupils with a teacher, school or parent. We minimise data collection because the safest pupil data is often the data a service never needs to collect.
Data sharing
We do not sell pupil data or use pupil practice activity for advertising.
Changes to this policy
If the technical setup or data practices change, this page will be updated so that it accurately describes what the site does.
